Gypsum is a by-product which is available from the Salt Pan Areas. It is available in two grades. The first grade requires perfect washing to remove excess salt through the washing unit. This grade is normally consumed by the units producing Plaster of Paris. The second grade is one which escapes from the process washing process. This grade plays a leading role in the form of raw material getting mixed in the manufacture of Cement. It is certainly required by the leading cement manufacturing units based in the Southern States.
